Mysuru Zoo gifts 5 Nilgai to Vajpayee Zoo near Hampi

Mysuru: Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, Mysuru, has gifted five Nilgai (two male and three female) to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Zoo in Kamapapura near Hampi.

As per the directions from the Member-Secretary of Zoo Authority of Karnataka (ZAK), five Nilgai were gifted and the same were transported from Mysuru on Oct. 21.

Ravishankar, Executive Director of the Mysuru Zoo, speaking to SOM, said that they will be sending five Sambar Deer (two male and three female) on Oct. 31 and five Barking Deer later.

He said that in order to develop the Belgaum Zoo, Mysuru Zoo has sent some excess birds such as Lady Emerald Pheasant among others yesterday.
