Mysore/Mysuru: Veteran tennis player of the city B.S. Tulasiramu has bagged titles in both Singles and Doubles events of All India Seniors Tennis Championship held at Kolkata.
He defeated Tamil Nadu player Setu in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 in Singles final and teamed with Tirupati’s Dhananjaya to beat Tamil Nadu’s Setu and Andhra Pradesh’s Sanyasi Raju again in straight sets 6-3, 7-5 in a keenly contested Doubles final.
The 68-year-old Tulasiram has participated in over 40 National and International Tennis Tournaments and has won over 60 titles in both Singles and Doubles events.
He won the title at ‘Charles Simon Senior Championship’ in 2015 and finished runner-up in Senior Doubles Championship in China in 2016 apart from winning three more titles in various other International Tennis Tournaments.
He has also participated in many National Tournaments and Dasara Sports Meet.
