N.V. Shanthamma (84), wife of late N. Venkatarathnam Shetty and a resident of Saraswathipuram, passed away on Jan. 30 in city following brief illness.
She leaves behind son N.V. Suresh, proprietor of well-known puja items shop at Devaraja Market, three daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill on Jan. 31.
