Bengaluru: Former Corporator and rowdy-sheeter Nagaraj alias ‘Bomb’ Naga has released a video alleging that a few Ministers including IPS officers, were involved in the conversion of demonetised currencies into new ones in the city.
He also alleged that he was very much present in his stronghold Srirampura and accused the cops of plotting to eliminate him in a fake encounter.
Nagaraj also claimed that a copy of his ‘video message’ had been sent to the city Police Commissioner.
Nagaraj can be reportedly heard in the video saying that he is in the city and is not absconding as projected by the Police. He has further stated that Rs 10 crore deal has been made to encounter him on Apr. 14, following which the Police team came to his house to kill him.
Meanwhile, Home Minister G. Parameshwara, reacting to Nagaraj’s allegations, said that Nagaraj would be arrested soon and further investigations would reveal more details about the case.
Senior Police officials refused to comment on Nagaraj’s claim but reiterated that he would be arrested soon. Nagaraj has already applied for anticipatory bail last week.
