Nagamangala PSI suspended over communal clash row

Nagamangala: A Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) has been suspended following his complaint regarding communal clashes in Nagamangala.

The suspended officer, B.J. Ravi, is attached to the Nagamangala Town Police Station. In his complaint, Ravi stated that the clashes were provoked by those involved in the immersion of Ganesha idols.

Mandya Superintendent of Police (SP) Mallikarjuna Baladandi issued the suspension order, citing dereliction of duty on the part of the SI.

Along with SI Ravi, Constable Ramesh, responsible for collecting secret information, has also been suspended. In total, four Police personnel have faced suspension in this case.

 Previously, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy.SP) Sumit and Police Inspector Ashok were also suspended, highlighting the ongoing disciplinary actions within the Police department in response to the incident.
