Nagendraswamy (90), a retired teacher and a resident of Kothegala village i the taluk, passed away yesterday at a private hospital in Mysuru.
He leaves behind four daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed in the family’s farm land yesterday, according to family sources.
