At first, the chariot carrying the idol of Lord Ganesha will be taken in a procession followed by the chariots carrying Lord Srikanteshwara, Goddess Parvathi, Lord Subramanya and Lord Chandikeshwara. Lakhs of devotees are expected to visit ‘Dakshina Kashi’ Nanjangud to witness the grand rathotsava — Sriman Gauthama Ratharohana — that will be held between 6.30 am and 6.50 am in the auspicious Meena Lagna.
