Narayana Hospital launches 24×7 free ambulance service

Mysuru: City’s Narayana Hospital, as part of World Health Day, launched the Narayana Emergency Ambulance Response (NEAR) – a 24×7 ambulance service — designed to provide rapid, free transport of patients to Narayana Hospital.

To ensure timely access to specialised care, ambulances will be stationed at strategic points across the city.

The NEAR service offers free transport, ensuring patients are promptly shifted to Narayana Hospital during emergencies, allowing them to receive immediate and expert care.

Speaking after launching the service, Dr. M.N.  Ravi, Clinical Director, Narayana Hospital, Mysuru, said “Emergencies demand fast and efficient response and the NEAR service ensures that patients are brought to Narayana Hospital without delay to receive life-saving interventions at the right time.”

Dr. V. Keshav Murthy, Director, Department of Cardiology, Narayana Hospital, said “In cardiac and medical emergencies, reaching the right facility on time is critical. With NEAR, we aim to ensure that patients are brought directly to the Hospital where they can receive expert care without delay.”
