Mysore/Mysuru: On the Occasion of Nartanan Namana, Ganabharathi, in association with Vidu. Nandini Eswer’s Raasavrunda, in memory of the Gurus, Lalitha Dorai, Pt. Tirathram ‘Azad’ Sharma, Pt. Y.N. Simha and Guru Valmiki Banerjee, presents ‘Nartanadalli Adhyatma’ (Spirituality in Dance) at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Adichunchanagiri Road, Kuvempunagar, on Nov. 14 at 6.30 pm.
Indian Classical Dance Consists of Tala, Raga, Abhinaya, Kavyarasa and Natyarasa. These have a direct impact on the internal and external world of man.
Literature, music, mind, knowledge, inner emotions, all put together initiates the journey of the soul towards the almighty. This is Nartana Yoga.
The dance is Choreographed by Vid. Nandini Eswer, and Directed by Dr. Rohitha Eswer. Assistant Direction by Vid. Nityashree Shetty and Vid. Chinmayee Bharadwaj. The performing artists are: Rohitha Eswer, Nityashree Shetty, Chinmayee Bharadwaj, M.S. Sanjana, M.A. Anisha, L. Kundanika, Pranathi Bharadwaj, G.S. Pratiksha, N. Rohitha, M. Keerthana, N.
