Mysore/Mysuru: As part of National Cancer Survivors Month, Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Mysuru, had organised an event on June 4 to bring together cancer survivors from across the region. The event aimed to empower, educate and celebrate the resilience of cancer survivors while emphasising the significance of early detection, treatment and ongoing support.
The Cancer Survivors Meet witnessed an inspiring gathering of survivors, medical professionals and support groups who united to honour the survivors’ journeys and foster a sense of camaraderie.
The event showcased the Cancer Care experts of Narayana Multispeciality Hospital including Dr. Naveen Jayram Anvekar (Medical Oncologist), Dr. H.M. Lokesh (Consultant Surgical Gastroenterology and Gastro Oncosurgery), Dr. K.R. Suhas (Surgical Oncologist and Robotic Surgeon), Dr. Mekhala Shwetradri (Radiation Oncologist), Dr. G. Vidya (Radiation Oncologist) and Dr. Azaz Ahamad (Associate Consultant Surgical Gastroenterology and Gastro Oncosurgery).
Pavan Kumar, Facility Director of Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, expressed his gratitude to cancer survivors for their trust in the hospital’s healthcare services. He stated, “Our commitment to their well-being extends beyond medical treatment, and this event is a testament to our dedication in fostering a holistic healing environment.”
