Mysuru – As part of World Health Day, Kayachikitsa and Swasthavritta Department of JSS Ayurveda Medical College, Lalithadripura Road, Mysuru, has organised Manas-2017, a National Seminar on Depression at its premises on Apr. 7 at 10.30 am.
The seminar will be inaugurated by Dr. Preethi Pai Shanbhag, Academic Director, Manasa Educational Foundation for Mental Health, Shivamogga. Dr. Rajendra, Professor, Government Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru, will deliver the keynote address on the theme.
Dr. B.S. Sridhar, Principal, Govt. Ayurveda Medical College, Bengaluru and Dr. Hrishikesh Damle, MD&CEO, Atrimed Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru will be the chief guests. Dr. K. Lakshmeesh Upadhya, Principal, JSS Ayurveda Medical College, will preside.
More than 150 Scientific papers and posters will be presented at the seminar.
Dr. Prakash Mangalasseri, Associate Professor, VPSV Ayurveda College, Kottakkal, Kerala, Dr. Narendra, Asst. Professor, Mysore Medical College (MMC), Dr. K. Sajitha, Professor, Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Sciences and Research, Bengaluru, Dr. Suhas Kumar Shetty, Professor, SDM College of Ayurveda, Hassan will be the resource persons.
