National Seminar on ‘Recent Trends in PCB Technology’ held

Mysuru  – A one-day National Seminar on ‘Recent Trends in PCB Technology’ was organised by the Department of Electronics and Communication of NIE Institute of Technology (NIEIT), Mysuru at its premises in Koorgalli here recently.

R. Laxmi Sundari, SBU Head, Defence & Aerospace Division, Kaynes Technology, Mysuru,  who was the chief guest inaugurated the seminar and explained about PCB assembling steps and career opportunities for E&C Engineers. Prof. T. Ananthapadmanabha, Principal & CEO, welcomed. Dr. N.V. Archana, Head of ECE Department, briefed about the seminar topic. T.K. Chittaranjan, Director of NIE, presided. A.V. Manjula, Assistant Professor, ECE Department, proposed a vote of thanks.

Santhosh Gundapai, General Manager, AT&S Ltd., Mysuru, explained about PCB manufacturing while Sunil Shambhatnavar, General Manager, ALS Technologies, Bengaluru, gave an insight of ‘Opportunities in Digital Electronics.’

Raghavendra Bhat, General Manager, CloudE, Mysuru, spoke about ‘Recent Advances in Embedded Systems’, while N.C. Prasanna, Manager, Jupiter Design Technologies, Bengaluru, explained about ‘Total Solutions on PCB’.

About 150 students including faculty members and students from various colleges and engineers from various industries participated in the event.
