National Symposium on ‘Women’s Safety’

Mysuru: Muralidhar Bhagavat Charitable Foundation & Veeravratam Foundation have organised a National Symposium & Interactive Session on “Women’s Safety at Work” at the Department of Tourism Auditorium, Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Post Graduate Centre, KRS Road, Metagalli, on Sept. 18 from 9.45 am to 1 pm.

Vijaya Bharathi Sayani, Chairman, National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi, Ajay Bhatnagar, Director General (Investigation), National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi and Joginder Singh, Registrar (Law), National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi, are the distinguished guests attending the Symposium.

This Symposium aims to address the critical issue of women’s safety in the workplace, exploring current challenges, legal frameworks and strategies for creating a safer work environment for women across India.

Some of Mysuru’s prominent women and those who have played a significant role in empowerment and gender equality initiatives have been invited to be a part of this Symposium-cum-Interaction.
