Mysore/Mysuru: Teresian College Research Centre (Commerce), in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), has organised a 2-day National Workshop on ‘Statistical Data Analysis Using SPSS’ at the College premises in Siddarthanagar on Nov. 18 and 19.
Dr. P. Paramashivaiah, Senior Professor and Dean, Department of Studies Research in Commerce, Tumkur University, Tumakuru, will inaugurate the workshop at Ave Maria Golden Jubilee Auditorium, Teresian College, tomorrow at 9.30 am.
Prof. T.A. Binoy, Professor, Department of Tourism Studies, Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod, Kerala, will deliver the keynote address.
Dr. Sr. Rohini, Principal, Teresian College, will preside.
Dr. Veena M. D’Almeida, Director of Research, Vivek Charles, IQAC Coordinator and Dr. P.M. Shiva Prasad, Assistant Professor and Guide, will be present.
The workshop aims to provide hands-on learning experience for faculty members, researchers, and students. Distinguished resource persons will conduct practical sessions on statistical analyses using SPSS software, like descriptive and bivariate analysis, graphical visualisation, factor analysis, correlation, regression, non-parametric tests, reporting and interpretation.
Expert resource persons guiding the sessions include Dr. V. Manjunath, Associate Professor, Department of MBA, Maharaja Institute of Technology, Mysuru, Dr. G.Y. Yashodhara Kumar, Clinical Psychologist, Department of Clinical Psychology, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru, Dr. N. Abhishek, Assistant Professor, Department of Post-Graduate Studies in Commerce, Government First Grade College, Halebeedu, Hassan and Dr. M. Shivaraja, Assistant Professor in Management, Government First Grade College, Nanjangud.
