Archery was prevailing in the epic period but now it has become a demanding sport, or skill, were-in the Cadets used bow and arrow to shoot on the target.
The initiative is reckoned to be first of its kind in history of this region, says Flying Officer Dr. P.G. Pushparani of Mahajana FGC, Mysuru.
Pankaj Mallick and G. Lohith trained the Cadets in the archery camp and they were ably supported by N. Sharath and Swaroop of Tiger Adventure Foundation.
Sharing his experience, DSD Solanki, Founder and Chairman of Tiger Adventure Foundation, said: “though we have conducted several programmes for the people of the State, this is the first time we are having NCC Cadets been exposed to such a skill.”
