Need flyovers to alleviate traffic congestion

Sir,

As a private sector employee, I commute daily by bike across Mysuru. Over the years, the city’s traffic density has been steadily increasing.

Fortunately, Mysuru has wide roads, which help prevent major congestion. However, traffic jams are frequent at junctions, especially on exit roads.

For instance, near JSS College on Ooty Road, traffic congestion is a daily occurrence. I have often seen ambulances stuck in jams, unable to move due to the dividers between lanes.

As a responsible citizen, I am unsure whom to approach regarding this issue. I sincerely hope the authorities will take prompt action.

There is ample scope for developing a flyover or an underpass in high-traffic areas. Let’s not wait for a disaster to occur before taking action!
