Sir,
The lack of flights to major cities like Mumbai and Delhi from Mysuru despite several demands from the public is a concerning issue. One potential solution to address this problem could be to extend the existing smaller flights to these major cities from airports like Hubballi, Hyderabad or Chennai.
Operating these flights for two or three days a week could provide a convenient option for passengers travelling to these cities and also those connecting to international flights.
Additionally, there is a need to consider flights to other important destinations such as Mangaluru, Kochi, Tirupati and Shirdi. Commencing flights to these cities at least twice a week would cater to the demands of the passengers seeking air travel to these specific destinations.
The Kempegowda International Airport is distant from some areas, and despite the presence of an expressway, the travel time can be tiring for passengers.
Providing direct flights to major cities and important destinations from nearby airports would not only reduce travel time but also alleviate the stress associated with long journeys.
