New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has denied any plans to cancel National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET), asserting that the Government won’t jeopardise the future of thousands of aspirants because of a few isolated incidents.
Addressing the media persons recently, Pradhan said, “I want to assure everyone that the Government is committed to protect students’ rights. We will not compromise with transparency. We have received inputs from the Bihar Government about NEET examination. Patna Police is investigating the matter and they will soon send a detailed report to the Government of India. Preliminary information indicates that errors were limited to a specific region.”
