The Nelson Mandela Road connecting Millennium Circle to Hotel Highway Circle needs a median as the traffic density has increased and also there are many Hotels, Restaurants, and Schools on this busy stretch.
All vehicles move at a very high speed resulting in many minor and major accidents. This stretch of road is broad enough to accommodate concrete blocks on the lines of those installed on Sayyaji Rao Road.
Also as the road is dark, street lights have to be installed in the centre of the road with a “T” type poles so that the entire stretch of this road is visible at night. This road is also frequented by many tourists.
It is high time the Civic Authorities take this matter seriously, and do the needful to ensure safety of the road users.
