Mysuru: Er. S. Prakash assumed charge as the Chairman of the Mysore Centre of Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) for 2019 – 21 at a function held at Fortune JP Palace, on Saturday.
Prakash, who is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Pramur Group of Companies, was installed by Er. S. Pitchaiah, former President of ACCE (I).
Speaking on the occasion, Pitchaiah stressed the need for standardisation of construction materials and desired that ACCE (I) should take forward the formalities in this regard.
The other office bearers are: Er. M.S. Ramprasad (Hon. Secretary), Dr. Y.M. Manjunath (Hon. Treasurer), Er. B.R. Badarinath (Immediate Past Chairman). Dr. S. Raviraj, Dr. H.S. Prasanna, Dr. P. Earlier, Badarinath welcomed. Immediate Past Secretary, Er. H.S. Deepak presented a video of all the activities organised by the Centre during 2017 – 19. Seven new members were inducted. Past Chairmen, H.N. Vijayavittal and R. Sundara Murthy introduced Pitchaiah and Prakash. Er. Ramprasad proposed a vote of thanks. Dr. S. Raviraj, Professor of Civil Engineering, SJCE, compered.ACCE
