Mysore/Mysuru: The Karnataka Police Housing Co-operative Society, Alanahalli in the city, has got a new President and Vice-President.
T.N. Nagesh, a retired Assistant Sub-Inspector, was elected as the President and Marigowda, a retired Police Sub-Inspector, was elected unanimously as the Vice-President of the society. The President post was vacant as former Dy.SP Nanjundegowda had quit citing health issues.
Speaking to Star of Mysore after his unanimous election as the Vice-President, retired PSI Marigowda said that the Society will make honest efforts to form new layouts and distribute sites to the waiting Society members.
Pointing out that the Fourth Phase of Police Layout being formed near Daripura on H.D. Kote Road is in progress, Marigowda said that Society members who have already paid money will be allotted sites based on seniority.
