Mysuru: The 67th General Body Meeting of Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA), the only representative body of Micro and Small Scale Industries of Karnataka, was held at Bengaluru recently and the following were elected as new office-bearers of the Association for the year 2017-18:
R Hanumanthe Gowda – President; Basavaraj S. Javali, Vice-President; A. Padmanabha, Imm.Past President; T.S. Umashankar, Hon.Secretary; Latha Girish and Manjunath – Joint Secretaries, K.N. Narasimhamurthy, Hon.Treasurer.
Manjunath, who is also the Treasurer of Mysore Industries Association (MIA) and Managing Director of Vima Rubbers, was elected as Joint Secretary along with MIA General Secretary N. Sathish, Mysore Printers Cluster General Secretary Suresh Kumar Jain, Hebbal Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association President N.H. Jayanth and Mysore District Small Scale Industries Association Hon. Secretary Subramanian as Council Members.
Hanumanthe Gowda owns Sri Harsha Silk Twisting Industries and Sree Hanuman Granites with Offices in Bengaluru. He served as President of Bangalore North Small Scale Industries Association for two terms and as Vice-President of KASSIA.
