New team of Computer Society of India-Mysore Chapter

Mysuru:  The new team of Computer Society of India, Mysore Chapter, was installed at its AGM held recently. Chairpesron – Er. Aruna Devi, Vice Chairman –  Mohammad Minaj, Secretary – J.G. Venkatesh and Treasurer – Er. A. Hemanth Kumar took charge as EC members for 2019-2020.

Dr. Pushpalatha, Er. Rampur Srinath, Dr. Sathyanaryana and Er. J.V. Srivathsa were elected to the MC and Vishwanath Rao, Er. Anitha Venkatesh and B.S. Krishnamurthy formed the NC.

Outgoing Chairman Er. Veerander Kumar thanked all the CSI members for the support rendered during his tenure as Chairman.

The incoming Chairperson Er. Aruna Devi said, “ in the changing world of technology we need to change ourselves to keep pace with the developments and for this we need to reskill and upskill ourselves.” She requested the members to share their expertise as resource persons.

Senior Life Members of CSI, Mysuru chapter gave their suggestions on how CSI could better serve the society and student community at large. Members suggested that Certificate Course certified by CSI could be conducted for the students of various colleges.

The e-news letter, a quarterly newsletter, would serve as a platform for sharing the database of the resource persons and the events to be organised under the banner of CSI Mysore chapter.

Anitha Venkatesh proposed a vote of thanks.
