Mysore/Mysuru: Just like all other regional communities in India, Tibetan community celebrates the immense hard work of their farmers on the occasion of their New Year, famously known as ‘Losar’.
Marking the festive period, Nexus Centre City Mall, Mysuru and Tibetan Community Centre presented merry-making events for the patrons to experience Tibetan cultural programmes aligned over the weekend (Feb. 4).
Visitors at the Mall witnessed various Tibetan dance forms and songs, to name a few Tashi Sholpa, Tibetan Snow Lion Dance, Dri Ru Tibetan group dance, Kalsang La traditional dance, Tibetan Circle dance passionately performed by the youth artistes from Central School for Tibetan, Hunsur, Bylakuppe and Dzongksar Chode Monastery.
Tibetan Community Centre Mysuru has also organised Tibetan Cultural Exhibition, Tibetan Mandala Art and Tibetan Book Expo from Feb.1 to 7.
