The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, will be holding its 9th Graduation Day at NIE Diamond Jubilee Sports Complex, Manandavadi Road, at 11.30 am tomorrow (Aug.31). Dr. Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay, Director and Professor, Machine Intelligence Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, will deliver the Graduation Address. Srinath Batni, President, NIE, will preside. The 9th batch of 1,046 students of the autonomous scheme at the NIE will be awarded provisional degree certificates on the occasion while 45 BE, 21 M.Tech, three MCA rank holders and 12 Ph.D awardees will receive Gold Medals.
