Mysore/Mysuru: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and the Board for IT Education Standards (BITES), an autonomous body promoted by Government of Karnataka, has announced the winners of the Mysuru Regional Finals of the 15th edition of TCS TechBytes quiz.
Winner: P. Ayush, NIE South, Mysuru; Runner-up: Aditya J. Shetty, R.N.S. Institute of Technology, Bengaluru
TCS presented gift vouchers worth Rs. 12,000 to the winner and the runner-up received vouchers worth Rs. 10,000. All finalists were awarded gift vouchers.
Dr. B.G. Naresh Kumar, Principal, Maharaja Institute of Technology, was the chief guest at the prize distribution. The winner will go on to represent Mysuru at the State Finals which will be held in Bengaluru on Apr. 5.
Students from Mysuru region underwent a preliminary written test, from which the top six students qualified for an interactive quiz. The quiz had five segments — Tech Dashboard, Tech Recognition, Data World, Tech Connections and Generative Insights testing the students’ technology acumen.
TCS TechBytes is a campus outreach programme that strives to provide a better understanding of IT to students of all streams of engineering, to enable them to compete in a technology intensive industry. The Regional Finals of TCS TechBytes is being conducted across six cities in Karnataka — Mangaluru, Mysuru, Kalaburagi, Dharwad, Tumakuru and Bengaluru.
