Mysore/Mysuru: The Kumar Performing Arts Centre (KPAC), Mysuru, has organised 21st ‘Nirantara Kalemane Sri Ramanavami Nritya Mahotsava’ at Kalemane Sabhaangana in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage here on Mar. 30 at 3.30 pm.
Karnataka Kalashree, Vidya Nidhi renowned musicologist Vid. V. Nanjundaswamy will be the chief guest for the function.
The cultural programme will begin with solo thematic production dance ballet ‘Draupadi’ by Guru Dr. Soundarya Srivathsa, Founder-Director of Nartana Keertana, Bengaluru, which will be followed by Mohiniyattam by Guru Anju Peter, Founder-Director of Nrityankanam, Bengaluru. Later, Bharatanatyam performance by Tharang Academy of Arts Director Guru Aparna Vinod Menon and her disciples. Aatma Foundation Director Guru Sunita Nair and her disciples will be presenting a dance form titled ‘Ankuram… the bud sprouts’ which will be followed by duet Bharatanatyam performance by Guru Swamimalai K. Suresh and Guru Durgadevi Suresh, Founders and Directors of Samarpana Academy of Fine Arts, Chennai.
