City-based Nirantara Foundation, which is focusing on social orientation, society’s progress and upgradation of education, is working in this direction for the last 28 years using theatre as its medium to achieve its desired goals. As part of its continuous activities of interacting with youths, Nirantara Foundation is organising ‘Sahajaranga 2024-25,’ a theatre training camp for college students from Aug. 30 to Sept. 29 at Gandhi Bhavan, Manasagangothri, in the city. The camp will be held daily from 4.40 pm to 8.15 pm and only 30 students who register their names will be a given chance to participate.
The last date for submitting applications is Aug.30. The camp will have discussions, interactions and training on varied subjects like arts, theatre, folk, natural farming, land and water and others. At the end, a new play will be staged by the students attending the camp. Many reputed theatre persons and subject experts will participate in the month-long camp.
