Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysore Palace has been shut for three days for visitors from today (July 10) as a public health safety measure, after a Camel caretaker working in the Palace tested COVID-19 positive.
The entire Palace premises is being sanitised and disinfected. Saturday and Sunday are usual holidays and today’s shutdown means, the Palace will remain closed for visitors for three days from July 10 to 12.
The Palace will re-open for visitors on Monday, according to Palace Board sources.
