The State Government has nominated five Congress workers to Nanjangud CMC (City Municipal Council) as members. Those nominated are: K.M. Basavaraju, a resident of Nanjangud town, Ramesh, a resident of Housing Board Colony road, S. Ravi, a resident of Thomas Layout, Soubhagya, a resident of Chamala-pura Extension and Deepu, a resident of 8th Cross, R.P. Road. The nomination order has been issued by Nanjangud CMC Commissioner Nanjundaswamy based on the directions of the Under-Secretary of Urban Development Department.
