Mysuru: Maintaining that he could not attend the inauguration of BJP’s Parivartana Yatra at Bengaluru on Nov.2 purely for personal reasons, State BJP Vice-President and former Minister V. Sreenivasa Prasad has rubbished reports in a section of the Press that he was being sidelined in the party.
Addressing a press meet at a private hotel here this morning, Prasad clarified that he was not at all sidelined.
Claiming that all BJP leaders have been treating him with respect after he joined the party in January this year, Prasad said that he had no reason to feel disappointed. Asserting that he was very much engaged in building the party’s organisation, he said that his sole aim was to bring the BJP to power in the 2018 Assembly polls.
