The Karnataka Co-operation Department has appointed a Liquidation Officer after liquidating the City’s Adarsha Co-operative Bank Ltd., for non-functioning, in accordance with Section 72 of the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Act – 1959. However, the members of the Cooperative Bank and members of the public, can file their objections to the Liquidation, if any, in writing, at the office of the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies in the city, within fifteen days. If no objections are received within the deadline, the Department will go ahead with the cancellation of Registration of the Co-operative Bank.
