‘Onam Sadhya’ and ‘Kalari Payattu’ at Kerala Samajam, Mysore on Sept. 29

Mysuru: Kerala Samajam, Mysore, is organising traditional ‘Onam Sadhya’ on Sunday (Sept. 29) at 12 noon at Samajam community hall in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage.

‘Onam Sadhya,’ a traditional vegetarian feast from Kerala, features a variety of dishes blending sweet, sour, spicy, and savory flavors. Key dishes include Avial, Sambar, Kootu Curry, Thoran, Erissery, Olan, Pachadi, Pulissery, Inji Puli and Payasam, both Palada Pradhaman & Parippu Pradhaman.

A variety of cultural programmes including ‘Kalari Payattu’ and ‘Kolakali’ sponsored by Southern Zonal Cultural Centre Thanjavur, under the auspices of Ministry of Culture, Government of India, will be played from 11.30 am  to 1.30 pm  by Dr. A.K. Venugopalan  and team from Yoddha Kalaripayattu Academy Payyannur.
