Admissions are open for 6th standard in residential schools under Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS) like Morarji Desai, Kittur Rani Chenamma, Ekalavya Madari, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Indira Gandhi Residential Schools for the year 2021-22.
Those interested can submit applications online from July 28 to Aug. 10. Hall tickets can be downloaded from http://kreis.kar.nic.in and http://kea.kar.nic.in from Sept. 4 to 15. Entrance exam will be held on Sept. 16 from 11 am to 1 pm. For SC/ST students, annual income limit should be Rs. 2.5 lakh, for OBC – 1 students Rs. 2.5 lakh, OBC – 2A, 2B, 3A,3B students Rs. 1 lakh, according to a press release from Joint Director of Social Welfare Department.
