Mysuru: As part of the monthly moonlight music programme, online Vocal Duet by Chilkunda Sisters (Lakshmi Nagaraj and Indu Nagaraj) has been organised at Suttur Mutt at the foot of Chamundi Hill here at 6 pm on Nov. 30. Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. They will be accompanied by Vid. Matthuru Srinidhi on violin, Vid. C.S. Keshav Datt on mridanga and Vid. S. Manjunath on ghata.

Lakshmi Nagaraj & Indu Nagaraj are well-known names in both Karnatak Classical Music as well as Light Music. They had their initial training in music from their grandmother Vidushi C.S. Satyalakshmi and later under their father Vid. Nagaraj. Winners of Ede Thumbi Haaduvenu contest, they are A Grade artistes of AIR and Doordarshan.
Vid. Matthuru Srinidhi learnt violin from Vid. R.R. Keshavamurthy and classical vocal from R.N. Tyagarajan. He has received Master of Music from Madras University. He is a Grade A artiste in AIR and Doordarshan.
Vid. C.S. Keshav Datt is a student of Vid. P.G. Lakshmiranayan, later from V.S. Ramesh and currently is being tutored by Tumkur B. Ravishankar.
Vid. S. Manjunath is a student of Vid. T. Bhadrachar and Vid. Tumkur B. Ravishankar. He is currently working as a teacher in JSS High School, Mysuru.
