Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Charitable Trust, Mysuru, in association with Sri Guruguha Gana Sabha, will be presenting a grand online vocal concert by Vid. Kalyanapuram Aravind Soundararajan of Chennai, on Saturday (Sept. 11) at 5 pm on its YouTube Channel [https://www. youtube.com/channel/UC5duKEUSvk8 XXBra6TWQnSA] on the occasion of Ganesha Festival.
Vid. Aravind is a disciple of Sangeeta Kalanidhi, Padma Bhushan Madurai T.N. Seshagopalan, the renowned vocalist and Harikatha Vidwan.
He will be accompanied by eminent young artistes, Vid. N.C. Bharadwaj (Disciple of Sangeeta Kalanidhi, Padma Vibhushan Umayalapuram K. Sivaraman) on mridanga and Vid. R. Rahul (disciple of Sangeeta Kalanidhi, Padma Bhushan M. Chandrashekaran) on violin, according to a press release from Sabha Vice-President Vid. H.K. Narasimhamurthy.
