Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru District Joint Director of Agriculture Dr. M. Mahanteshappa said that a three-month long online training classes on Organic Farming with the theme ‘Organic farming for sustainable agriculture’ will commence from Nov. 23.
Addressing a press meet here yesterday, Dr. Mahanteshappa said that Krushi Samvahana Vedike will impart online training for farmers on organic farming on all Mondays starting from Nov. 23.
Maintaining that there has been a great demand for learning the concepts of organic farming, he said that the 12-series weekly training programme (Every Monday for three months from Nov. 23) will greatly help the farming community to practice organic farming for achieving sustainable agriculture. Besides, the programme can also be viewed live through the Facebook page of Krushi Samvahana Vedike, he said.
