Mysore/Mysuru: JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Ooty Road, Mysuru, has been awarded Gold rating by QS I-GAUGE.
An autonomous College affiliated to University of Mysore (UoM), JSS College has been re-accredited by NAAC with A Grade (CGPA: 3.21) in 4th cycle and celebrated Golden Jubilee in 2016.
The College has been recognised by UGC as College with Potential for Excellence and runs BVoc and MVoc in Food Processing and Engineering & Software Development and Advanced Diploma in Animation under UGC Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra, BiSEP & Karnataka Kaushalya Kendra sanctioned by Government of Karnataka.
Further, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, has recognised this College to run Unnat Bharath Abhiyan programme.
There are 126 UG & 67 PG teachers and 2,250 UG, 1,043 PG & 24 Ph.D students in the College. It offers 70 different programmes — 9 Ph.D, 14 PG, 6 UG with 21 combinations, 12 Career Oriented Courses and 7 PG Diploma courses — and has state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities for the holistic education.
The College underwent an assessment by QS I-GAUGE (Quacquarelli Symonds) through rigorous and independent data collection and analysis against performance metrics as set out in the methodology.
