Operation Swan continues: Traffic Cops groomed on Yoga

Mysuru: Operation Swan, initiated by City Traffic Police to make them more tourist-friendly and people-friendly and to increase their professionalism, has continued.

Yoga practice was organised for about 350 Traffic Police personnel on Monday from 6 am to 8 am at Race Course premises at the foot of Chamundi Hill here.

After teaching various yogasanas and basic exercises, the Police personnel were asked to include yoga in their routine daily.

City Police Commissioner Dr.A.S. Rao groomed the Police personnel on effective traffic control and utilisation of towing vehicles.

DCP Dr. Vikram V. Amate, ACP K.N. Madaiah and others participate in the yoga session.

The first yoga show was presented as part of Operation Swan by 200 Traffic Police personnel on Oct. 22, 2017 at Chamundi Hill after walking from Tavarekatte.
