Mysuru: Farooqia Dental College and Hospital, Mysuru, had organised an oral health awareness event by conducting a walkathon and sports events in city recently.
The walkathon was flagged off by Mysuru District Journalists Association President K. Deepak at K.R. Hospital, which passed through the main roads before culminating at College premises.
A free oral health check-up and treatment camp will be held for which vouchers were distributed to the patients and public.
Dr. K.C. Shashidhar, Senate Member of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Professor at JSS Medical College; Secretary of Indian Dental Association, Mysuru Branch, Dr. T.K. Sandeep; Director and Dean of Farooqia Dental College and Hospital Dr. H.P. Srinath; Principal Dr. Sanjay Murgod, Heads of Departments, faculty, interns and students were present.
