Mysuru: The Department of Clinical Psychology, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), is organising an orientation programme on ‘Enhancing Academic Skills of Primary School Going Children in School Settings’.
The programme will be inaugurated on Feb. 22 at 9.30 am at the seminar hall of the Academic Block of the Institute. Prof. M. Pushpavathi, Director, AIISH will preside. This programme aims to orient teachers of primary school going students about various age-related issues of primary school children, barriers in their successful academic performance, also the tips to enhance academic efficiency of children. Teachers of Primary school and school counsellors can participate.
This orientation programme will be interactive, inclusive, and involves didactic lectures, focus group discussions, case vignette narratives and brainstorming techniques.
