Mysore/Mysuru: Over 25 sheep were killed on the spot when a tipper vehicle ran over them on the Outer Ring Road yesterday afternoon.
The sheep belonged to Kemparaju of Bettahalli in Mandya district. The sheep were crossing the Ring Road at about 2.30 pm yesterday when a speeding tipper vehicle, which came from Mahadevapura side, ran over the flock of sheep killing 25-30 sheep on the spot near Narayana Hospital.
Udayagiri Police, who rushed to the spot, arrested the driver and have seized the tipper vehicle. The driver has been remanded to judicial custody.
