Mysuru: Jumboo Savari, the grand finale of Dasara festivities, will have over 40 tableaux this time covering art, sculpture, culture, festivals, folklore, history, water conservation, voter awareness, government programmes, legal awareness and many more.
The line-up of tableaux is: Bagalkot – Pattadakallu; Bengaluru – Solid Waste Management; Bengaluru Rural – Historical Ghati Subramanya; Belagavi – Kittur Vybhava; Ballari – Tungabadra Dam; Bidar – Anubhava Mantapa; Vijayapura – Gol Gumbaz; Chamarajanagar – Spiritual Centres in Forest Wealth; Chitradurga – Kayaka Yogi Sri Guru Thippendraswamy; Chikkaballapur – Vidurashwatha Shrine; Davanagere – Evolution of Smart City; Dakshina Kannada – Tulunadu Veeraru; Dharwad – D.R. Bendre’s Cultural City; Gadag – Afforestation; Kalaburagi – Airport; Hassan – Hoysala Nadu Belur; Haveri – Ranebennur Reserve Forest and Bankapur Sanctuary; Kolar – Village Development; Koppal – Kanakachala Temple; Mandya – Nalwadi’s Contributions; Mysuru – Golden Temple at Bylakuppe; Raichur – Thermal Power Station; Ramanagar – Handicrafts; Shivamogga – Badanur Shivappa Nayaka; Tumakuru – Dr. Shivakumar Swamiji; Udupi – Tulunadu of Parashurama; Uttara Kannada – Siddi Tribe and Yana and Yadgir – Banjara Culture.
All the tableaux are getting ready under the supervision of the Tourism Department, Kannada and Culture and the Department of Information and Public Relations.
The new entrants are Golden Temple of Bylakuppe, Legal Awareness Tableau of District Legal Services Authority, Discipline Message by NCC Battalion and Voter Awareness by SVEEP along with regular tableaux of Govt. Departments. Three best tableaux will receive cash prizes of Rs. 30,000, Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 10,000.
