Mysuru: Retired Karnataka High Court Judge P. Krishna Bhat has been appointed as the new Chairman of Karnataka State Juvenile Justice Board.
The others appointed to the Board as Director/Members are: B. Vijaykumar of Bengaluru’s Society for People’s Action for Development, Dr. K.M. Rajendra, Assistant Professor of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, Dr. Madhubanti Sandhya, Assistant Professor at Bengaluru’s National Law School University of India (NLSUI) and Dr. K.T. Thippeswamy, Member of Karnataka Child Rights Protection Commission, according to an order issued by R. Latha, Under Secretary-3 of the Department of Women and Child Development.
