Mysuru: Former International Athlete and Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President P.T. Usha inaugurated the newly constructed sports complex at Mysore International School located on H.D. Kote Road, here recently.
During her inaugural address, P.T. Usha, who is also the Rajya Sabha MP, recalled the day when she saw the synthetic track for first time during 1980 Moscow Olympics. She also praised the school management for providing state-of-the-art sports facility for the students to excel in their respective sports.
Stating that students should make use of the facilities provided by the school, P.T. Usha emphasised how present day students were fortunate to get access to international standard infrastructure.
Mysore International School Founder-Chairman Joseph K. Thomas, Vice-Chairperson Helena Joseph and Principal Dr. Preethi Vincent and the school staff were present on the occasion.
