Pack of dogs posing danger to walkers at Kukkarahalli Lake

Sir,

Some of the parks in our city have become dog sanctuaries. I am attaching a picture taken at Kukkarahalli Lake sometime back. The sight of a pack of dogs going together is scary and it is a nightmare for morning and evening walkers. A single bite can infect the victim with rabies and its fatal consequence. The population of dogs in Kukkarahalli Kere and Lingambudhi Kere is increasing by the day. There is no attempt to sterilise the dogs.

Are the parks in our city safe for our grandchildren? Are scooter riders who return from office late at night safe? There are many instances of stray dogs chasing the riders leading to fatal accidents.

Hope the competent authority will look into this menace.
