Pandavapura: Dr. H.S. Lalithanga Kumar (75), President of Pandavapura Taluk Jain Milan and a resident of Pandavapura town, passed away on Friday.
Dr. Lalithanga Kumar, who was also a social worker, leaves behind two sons and a host of relatives and friends.
A native of Hosaholalu in K.R. Pet taluk and an Ayurveda doctor by profession, he was conferred with a Gold Medal by the Srilankan Government several years ago for his medical service. He had also served as President of Basti Hoskote Jain Samiti of K.R. Pet taluk and was a close associate of Bebi Mutt’s Centenarian Seer Sri Maridevaru Swamiji.
Last rites were performed at Pandavapura burial grounds on Friday evening.
