Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Research and Extension Centre, University of Mysore (UoM), Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) and Mysore Open Forum (MOF) have jointly organised a panel discussion on ‘The District Administration and The Citizen’ at Vishvajnani Auditorium in Manasagangothri here on Sept. 14 at 10.30 am. Ravi Joshi, former Joint Secretary & Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India and Convenor, MOF, will preside over the event.
Various aspects of District Administration will be introduced by the following resource persons leading to discussions and sharing: Gurucharan Gollarakeri, former Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka, will deliver a talk on ‘Climate Change: Mainstreaming Climate Action at the District Level.’
M.R. Srinivas Murthy, former Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka, will talk on ‘Panchayath Raj: Principles and Practices.’ Dr. S.T. Ramesh, former Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG&IGP), Government of Karnataka, will speak on ‘Police and Community.’ The panel discussion is open to all.
