Papegowda (80), a resident of Ahalya village near Hullahalli in the taluk, passed away on Saturday morning at the village.
He leaves behind his wife Puttasiddamma, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the family’s farm land in the village on Saturday afternoon, according to family sources.
