Mysuru: Paramount Construction Ventures recently organised ‘Paramount Doctors Smash-2026,’ an exclusive badminton tournament dedicated to doctors — our true healthcare heroes — at ARC Sports Zone in Hebbal, Mysuru.

This unique sporting initiative was to ignite the thought of fitness among doctors, who spend most of their time caring for the health and well-being of society, often at the cost of their own physical fitness.

The initiative saw an overwhelming response, with many participating doctors sharing that over the last 15 days, they consciously made time out of their demanding schedules to practise, improve their game and build coordination with their playing partners.

The event was inaugurated by distinguished guests who shared inspiring messages on health and wellness.

Seema Latkar, City Police Commissioner, emphasised that for a healthy society, the well-being of doctors is absolutely essential and initiatives like Doctors Smash play a vital role in promoting this thought.

Somashekar Jigani, Deputy Commissioner, MCC (Revenue), highlighted that “If wealth is lost, something is lost; but if health is lost, everything is lost,” underlining the importance of prioritising fitness.

Dr. Usha Hegde, Mysuru’s first Ironman (twice) and Mountaineer, stated that such initiatives are crucial to instil the importance of fitness not just among doctors but among every citizen.

Dr. Nithin Srichand, a passionate medical professional and inspiring cyclist, appreciated Paramount Construction for not only focusing on building brilliant structures, but also contributing towards building a healthy and wellness-driven society.
